Safety and Community Standards

Effective October 29, 2026 · Beta version

GetUpizer is an adults-only social and neighbourhood service. Accounts, people discovery and chats are available only to people aged 18 or older.

Respect and consent

Harassment, stalking, threats, hate, discrimination, impersonation, fraud, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content and attempts to obtain another person’s sensitive information are prohibited. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and must never be assumed from a match, neighbour connection, chat or event participation.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation

GetUpizer has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, sextortion, trafficking or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content and behaviour are prohibited even when presented as a joke, role-play or off-platform invitation. When GetUpizer obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAM, access is restricted, content is removed or preserved only as legally required, and reports are made to the competent authorities where required by applicable law.

Reporting and blocking

Users can report profiles, content, events and messages from inside the service and can block another user. Blocking immediately restricts direct interaction. Reports enter a moderation process; serious safety reports are prioritised and repeat violations can lead to content removal, feature restrictions or account suspension.

Moderation

Automated signals may assist review, but enforcement decisions remain auditable and can include human review. Monetisation never exempts content or accounts from the same safety rules.

Real-world meetings

Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust about your plans, protect your home address and financial information, and contact local emergency services when anyone may be in immediate danger.

Safety contact

Report an in-app concern using the report action. For child-safety compliance or an urgent safety escalation, contact [email protected] with the subject “Child safety or urgent safety report”.

These standards apply to GetUpizer accounts, profiles, news, events, media and chats. Regional legal review remains required before public launch.
